How to make a healthy and delicious proffee coffee.


  • Espresso Maker
  • Mug
  • Shaker If using protein powder.


  • 1 Cup Coffee (or 2 shots of espresso)
  • 1 Cup Protein Shake (or 1-2 scoops of protein powder)
  • 1/2 Cup Ice


Brew a Cup of Coffee

  • Make a cup of coffee using your favorite brewing method. You can use a French Press, cold brew immersion brewer, a drip machine, etc. If you prefer to use espresso shots, keep in mind that you will want to add some water later on.

Prepare a Protein Shake

  • Use your favorite protein powder to mix up 1 cup of protein shake. Use as many scoops of powder as you’d like to get your desired amount of protein.
    Keep in mind the more protein powder you add, the stronger the powder flavor will become. You also run the risk of making a lumpy shake.
    If you don’t want to worry about mixing a protein shake, you can get a pre-mixed shake from the store.

Mix Everything Together

  • Fill a large glass with ice, add the 1 cup of coffee, and then add the 1 cup of protein shake. Stir everything to create a delicious Proffee.
    If you like to add any extras such as cinnamon or vanilla extract, you should also add those in at this time.


*You can opt to use more protein powder, but keep in mind that too much might overpower your drink.

  • Milk (Almond, rice, whole, etc.)
  • Sugar (White, brown, coconut, etc.)
